First-Class Forgiveness Flight

And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32 (NKJV)

Forgiving others as God forgives you is a command,

that comes with a promise. First, we recognize how little we are, how much damage we’ve done, and how hurt people hurt people. Secondly, we humble ourselves before God, acknowledging His consistent, unconditional love for us. Despite the mistakes we make, God’s hands are on our lives, blessing us every morning we open our eyes with new mercies. Realizing how imperfect we are and how life is a journey of learning, tests, and testimonies, we can forgive ourselves. The more we can forgive ourselves, the more we are willing to forgive others. Matthew 6:14 “For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.” If that doesn’t move you to forgive, let’s look at forgiveness as an act of worship. Worshipping who He is, a forgiving God who loves unconditionally.
